We’re a fully independent agency, focused on residential property. What this means is that we’re not under pressure from a head office to hit commission targets or push financial services products on to you. Our independent status allows us to create bespoke marketing strategies that are tailored to match your specific personal circumstances rather than comply with traditional, ‘one-size-fits-all’ formulas, and there’s no hard-sell.
We give honest advice un-swayed by potential sales commission and only properties we’d live in ourselves make the grade. The majority of our new customers come by personal recommendation so it looks like our existing clients are spreading the word and we’d love to show you, first hand, just how much we care.
Coupled with this is our focus on the long-term best interests of our vendors and landlords. So for example, we have a rigorous tenant screening process that means won’t recommend a tenant unless we are convinced they will look after the property and pay their rent on time.
But it is important to treat tenants fairly too, not just because that is ethical, but also because it makes good business sense. Over time tenants become purchasers, purchasers become vendors, and vendors become landlords.
Like you we’re involved in property every day, and we wondered why estate agency seems to have become overly complicated. All those unnecessary bells and whistles cost money and end up being paid for by you, the customer. More than 90% of buyers and sellers now use the internet as their primary means of conducting property searches. As far as property sales and lettings are concerned, the days of ‘window shopping’ in the high street are gone.
To us, lean property management means not paying for things we don’t want or need, and then passing the savings on to you. So we don’t have expensive high street shops, fleets of brand new cars, or glossy brochures or magazines. Just efficient use of technology. It’s more cost-effective, and it feels right.
